Description
SUJ2 is a high-carbon chromium bearing steel frequently used to manufacture high-precision, high-strength bearings and shafts. Through induction hardening (high-frequency quenching), the performance of SUJ2 shafts is further enhanced.
The primary characteristics of SUJ2 after induction hardening include:
1. High Hardness: Following induction hardening, the surface hardness of SUJ2 bars increases significantly, reaching HRC 58–64. This allows the shaft to maintain exceptional wear resistance under high-load and abrasive conditions.
